Convert text to Mtext:
- Command to convert text to Mtext is TXT2MTXT.
- Type TXT2MTXT at command prompt and press enter.
- The prompt says to select objects(text). Simply select text objects and press enter.
- That’ all. The selected text objects will become a single Mtext.
Change Justification of text:
- This command changes the justification point of a text object without moving the text.
- Command to change justification of text is TJUST.
- Type TJUST at command prompt and press enter.
- The prompt says to select objects (text). Select text objects and press enter.
- You will get following options at command prompt.
- [Start/Center/Middle/Right/TL/TC/TR/ML/MC/MR/BL/BC/BR].
- Select one of the options by typing capital letters shown in the option and press enter.
Rotate multiple text:
- Command to rotate multiple text objects at same location is TORIENT.
- Type TORIENT at command prompt and press enter.
- The prompt says to select objects(text). Select text objects and press enter.
- Now the prompt says to enter New absolute rotation angle.
- You can enter an angle at command prompt (example: 30).
- Or you can pick two points. The angle between two points will be read and applied to rotate text objects.
Enclose text with [Circles/Slots/Rectangles]:
- Command to enclose text objects with Circle or Slot or Rectangle is TCIRCLE.
- Type TCIRCLE at command prompt and press enter.
- Now select TEXT, MTEXT or ATTDEF objects… and press enter.
- Now the prompt says to enter offset distance factor. That is gap between circle and text.
- You can press enter to accept the default value or enter required offset distance and press enter.
- Now you will get the options how to enclose text with [Circles/Slots/Rectangles].
- Type C for Circle, or type S for Slot, or type R for Rectangle and press enter.
- Now the prompt says that, is the size of circle / slot / rectangle is constant or variable.
- Enter V for variable size and press enter. That’s all.
Break-Line-Symbol:
- Command to draw break-line-symbol is BREAKLINE.
- Type BREAKLINE at command prompt and press enter.
- Check the size of breakline in command prompt.
- If you want to change size of breakline, type S at command prompt and press enter. Then provide size and press enter.
- Now pick first point for breakline. And then pick second point for breakline.
- Now pick location point for break symbol(Midpoint).
Superhatch:
- Command to use a block or an image as hatch pattern, is SUPERHATCH.
- Type SUPERHATCH at command prompt and press enter.
- Now you will get a small dialog box with options.
- Pick either a block or an image button.
- Now select a block or an image to use as hatch pattern.
- Then provide insertion point, scale and rotation angle for the selected block or image.
- Now press enter to accept the placement of inserted block or image.
- If the selected choice is a block, then again press enter to accept the Extents of block.
- Now you will get, Specify an option [Advanced options] <Internal point>: at command prompt.
- Pick an internal point to place hatch and press enter to finish.
Change text case (TCASE):
- Changes the case of selected text, mtext, attributes, and dimension text.
- Command to change text case is TCASE.
- Type TCASE at command prompt and press enter.
- Now select text objects and press enter.
- Now it will ask to select an option from [Sentence/Lower/Upper/Title/toGgle].
- Select one of the options. That’s all.
